Arctic Flow Statement

‘Arctic Flow’ was installed at Rice Polak Gallery in 2022. Six drawings depict the eventual demise of the Arctic ice sheets. The mid  to bottom of the wall is overlaid with a video projection of an ice flow with the following phrase at the bottom: “I imagined you would come…and here you are.” The projector is on the floor so as viewers approach the work, shadows of their legs are cast onto the piece – their actual footprint – making them part of the work, the problem and the solution.
